You're right though, we are an empire and we are ruled by the Great Emperor Elvis Presley. We were going to be ruled by JFK, but Presley stopped this by making his robot puppet, lbj, order a contract on Kennedy. The aliens from roswell were the ones who took up the job and they framed Lee Harvey Oswald because he was the only one who really knew what was going on. Before he could blab though, they took control of Jack Ruby's mind and forced him to kill Oswald before he could tell the truth behind the whole conspiracy. Only then was Elvis secure that he could one day use the US to make and empire.

Course, you guys all do of course realise that when a nation votes in the UN they're not voting FOR or AGAINST America, but in their own interests, right?

In the same way that America doesn't vote FOR or AGAINST Britain, or anyone else.

America is not the only nation that brings proposals to the table and therefore you cannot say that any other nations votes *for* or *against* the US, they just vote *alongside* or *opposed to* the US point of view.

There are 192 other nations in existance, 191 of which are UN members. (The Vatican city decided not to get involved, the elitist sods (j/king!)

). To say that they vote for or against any particular one nation out of almost 200 others is quite simply an incredibly poor use of statistics and logical reasoning.

If you are indeed Jewish my friend, you may well be interested in UN Resolution 181 which was the UN Resolution that created the state of Israel. Prior to UN Resolution 181 (which was voted on and approved in 1947) there was only British-administrated of Palestine.

when it comes to UN, Wolrd Bank and the G8, money is given by healthy countries to developing countries to avoid them collapsing.

the US can't force policy on those other nations, so if they are routinely voting against the US's wishes then thats pretty much fine in my book.

I think you misunderstood, and I'm to blame. I wasn't asking that from you in particular. It was meant to be a general comment for people to post information regarding their arguments, etc.. So it applies to everyone.

Here, you can try it yourself. You can search for news that occured even before 1930...to that's not pre-www...that's pre-computers-being-able-to-comunicate-via-LANs time...which preceeded the internet....which also preceeded the www stuff.

I understand it should go as back as 1800's..but it's still a WIP, so you may not find something today, and find it tomorrow.
