Game crashes

Hi, i've installed the game, the patch v1.41, the pr core 0.756, the pr level 0.756 and then the pr sp 0.75, i also istalled map pack v2. The problem is that when i start BF2 on SP, the game goes to desktop. All the menus from the toolbar of the game work (Mutiplayer, options, communiti, and quit too

) but i just click on single player and the game goes down. Can you help me?
I really want to put this worcking, because for what i have heard you have done a really good work

Creating lots of posts on the same subject won't change the fact that you need to search through the forum, starting at the top is a good place, to see where and how to download single player.

Make sure your shortcut for PR_SP is using the correct path. I had that same issue, and somehow my shortcut was changed, and made the game think it was running from a network share.

The path should look something like:

Code:

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe +modpath...(etc)

And NOT like this:

Code:

"\\computername\c$\program files\... (etc)

Changing it fixed the problem for me, but without more information, there's no real way to tell what exactly is causing it for you.

Problem resolved, i had installed BF2 Special Forces and i didn’t know that i had to reinstall the patch 1.41.
Now I just have one complain: I can't sleep anymore
