The batch file (.bat) just blinks up and goes away.
This is the contents of the batch file:

cd mods\pr_sp_07\shortcut\

set desktopdir=%desktopdir:~1,-1%

When I edited it to pause before it goes away, this happens:

The system cannot find the path specified.

First question... are you running Vista? as it doesn't seem to like it for some reason (I'll have to look into a vista script)
Second question... are you running the bat file straight from the pr_sp_07\Shortcut folder

This is what I get with XP

The only difference is mine is installed to H:\BF2

You can do it manually like this.....

Make a copy of your pr shortcut and rename it to pr_sp_07 or whatever you want to call it.....
then right click on the shortcut and go to properties.....
in the target box change the second pr to pr_sp_07....

Example:
*******\mods\pr\pr.exe +modPath mods/pr_sp_07 +menu 1 +fullscreen 1
