Apologies for bringing up waht I think has been discussed before, but on startup I get the shaders error, I've followed instructions as directed, but no luck. My shortcut is right as by the way

Actually it is easy to do via the clientarchives.con but I have just not implemented it yet.... but will do in v0.8 as some things will have changed by then and it's not worth doing it at the moment.
I cant see a prob with just copying the levels folder for now though.

Check that your pr.exe is not in the BF2 root folder and is in the pr folder.....
Some peeps have reported that this was the prob for whatever reason.

Well 'Al Basrah Province' is one of our favourites 'Map Pack 5'
and 'Fools Road Day 1 & 2' 'Karkand Mountains' and 'Qwai River' in 'Map Pack 7' are also some of our favourites.

Also the maps in 'Map Pack 8' are really good and 'Operation Archer' being the latest PR map.

On saying all that.... all the map Packs have good maps some better than others.

Different maps use different factions/vehicles/weapons etc.... some are infantry only and some have everything

Why not d/l them all over a period of time and then you will be spoilt for choice.

I did just downloaded Map Pack 5 from Humyo but when I click the file that appears on my desktop after DL, it comes up with this:





Im downloading MP 8 now.

And I was just curious, can I play the 0.7 Basrah SP? Because I tried copying the "albasrah" folder in "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\levels" to: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr_sp_07\levels"... I also copied all the correct int.con files into the corresponding map server archives. It didn't work.

Why not d/l them all over a period of time and then you will be spoilt for choice.

plus you'll be busy for a while.

sometimes you get corrupt downloads, just try another mirror, d/l again and i guess it works then.
