the bots can fly the heli, but the helis flown by bots sometimes just stay at one spot FOREVER, basically hovering in the air. i want to be shot at from the sky, you know, for a little adrenaline rush

Try some different maps and you will be running for cover whenever you see a helo.

Transport helos normally hover above a flag when it's being captured on some maps (Muttrah for example) and the BH can be a deadly weapon with 2 gunners aboard.

The Cobra and Apache are very efficient in chasing vehicles and shooting the shit out of them especially when they have a gunner on board.

Just give the mod a chance and you will see what I mean... we sometimes curse the helos as they are so deadly that we get fed up of getting killed by them.

Also make sure you are running the difficulty on at least 0.7 (most of us run at 0.9) this makes the bots more intelligent.

I've done a big update on the Ai and they are even better now (soon to be released)

Now I have a question- for init.con stuff, when I open the file for the map, lets say its Al Basrah, do I have to put the init.con for Al Basrah in the Al Basrah map? Or can I just take the init.con from one map and put it in all of the maps? Thanks.

i installed pr_sp_075 last night and i have to say you guys have done a nice job, but i have a few questions to ask:

1. how can i control the amount of bots in game? (e.g in kashan desert my game lag as hell because there is to many bots and of course my pc rig are not in optimal conditions.)

2.i read a previous post of outlaws talking about the a.i. of the bots (0.7 or 0.9) how do i change the a.i. rate? (level difficulty)

The annoying question:
3. on the first page it says "drag and drop the init.con file from the init.con.rar to the server.zip, ok i did that but some maps does not appear on the Init.cons_075.rar folder so i couldn't drag and drop the init.con file to the levels that does appear on the EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr_sp_07\levels and i think i cant play the maps that doesn't have init.con file added to the EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr_sp_07\levels location..how can i fix that to play all the 31 maps? in the init.con folder only exist 20 of them... i went into the game and i count the maps that i have available and there is only 27 (including 16-64 maps like al basrah or al basrah providence), if there is 31 maps how can i add the maps not included in game?

1 & 2.... you can use the bot changer found HERE
Note: Change the settings in the bot changer to your liking and then save and quit the program, then start pr_sp_07 from the normall shortcut.

Or you can go to pr_sp_07\Ai\aidefault.ai and change the settings from there.....
aiSettings.overrideMenuSettings 1
aiSettings.setMaxNBots 47
aiSettings.maxBotsIncludeHumans 0
aiSettings.setBotSkill 0.9


3. Every map that needed a new init.con is included in the Init.con's_075.rar... but not every map needed a new one and the old one that is already there will be ok.

Just open the Init.con's_075.rar and then double click on the init.cons folder... inside you will see all the folders of the maps that have new files.... open each folder individually and you will see the init.con for that map.

Now open the server.zip in the pr_sp_07\levels\mapname... so you have two archives open at the same time side by side... just drag the init.con from the .rar folder into the server.zip folder..... job done.

Do this for each map that is included.
(I know you already know how to do this but thought it would be usefull for others to read)

NOTE: It's not absolutely necessary to use the new init.cons and all the maps should work without them... but they will make it so that the officer kit is in the right slot and that you can place RP's with this kit.... the old init.cons had a substitute officer kit and you had to request the kit from main flags for it to work correctly.
