Also when i try to load BF2 or any other mod i get this shaders error, it like 'cannot find XXXXX/XXX' so i might need to fix that so i can launch the game to play...

this happens for bf2 as well?? now in that case i think a complete reinstallment of bf2 would be in order tbh. and don't forget the latest patch.

also make sure you follow the instructions step by step, you have to run the mod in admin mode in vista. and you shouldn't have any problems replacing the init.con files.. (check if the server.zip is 'read-only' - it shouldn't be)

Ok i re-installed the vanilla BF2 and it starts up now, i also re-pacthed it. I downloaded mappack 8 adn those maps go to about 52% and the 'crash' heppens the same. Maybe i need to start it up by the shortcut? But it doesnt make one when i double-click on the create_shortcut.bat. So if anyone knows how to manualy create a shortcut for PRSP please tell me.

nevertheless you can make one on your own easily, just copy/paste your pr shortcut, go to the copy's properties and change the target path to something like this, depends where your OS is located.

just change the bold part from pr to pr_sp_07

I re-installed PR and i did the shortcut thing...but is says BF2.exe cannot be found! Please, how do i fix it!

That doesn't work i tried to type it into my shortcut and computer, either didnt work... but how do i fix this 'bf2.exe does not exist' pop-up
