Re: Disappointed my first time.

Well I remember trying PR for the first time: I came across an ad
on some German site by an accident, downloaded (0.5 just came out)
and joined a server with 3 people. It was running Gulf of Oman,so
first thing I do is jump into the LAV,see the sights and all that "greenish" staff and as soon as I realized you needed 2 guys to use it
I fell in love. Few seconds later I am trying to move the turret
and starting to get really pissed of cause it's "broken".
Then I am dead. Now I am really, really pissed - I try again few seconds later dead again. The turret hasn't moved, tried driving it - the engine
is "broken". To make a very long story a little shorter:I said to
myself this f*cking mod is so beautiful, why not read up some info a bit.
So I read the manual.Things become clear more or less. Later on I did
what the other guys have said: join a squad, follow the crowd, don't
improvise, listen to the SL and the others, don't talk too much and watch
and learn.Tell them you new,but if they/SL are not too nice - find another squad, sooner or later you'll get a good SL/squad.

I would recommend not to join the training servers, especially Kashan-online.
Run a local training server, take your time look around..do
what ever - no one will shoot you there and it's the same thing minus all
the retards.
