how will my new laptop run PR??

I need estimations because i dont wanna waste time installing it and downloading PR and the bf2 patches just to find out that it runs like crap on low graphics. ANyways here are the specs



Core 2 Duo 1.83 Ghz
3 Gigs ram
gefore 8400 M GS

The Geforce 8400M GS can handle BF2/PR on medium-high settings at 1280x800 resolution.

I have no problem running PR on high at 1280x800 on my laptop:
2ghz core2duo
2gb ram
8400M GS
So yours should be fine too.

sweet. What kind of fps do you get? Is it consistent on all maps?

Absolutely fine. I don't know much about that graphics card specifically, but I think it's safe to assume it's more than powerful enough to run BF2 on high at a decent resolution.

I dunno. I doubt it's maxed out at 100, but I've never had it low enough for me to notice. I'll have a look next time I'm in game.

Edit: Varies from 20 to 60 on the two maps I've just been on, although I did have a few programs running in the background and I'm not sure how system intensive those maps are compared to others.
