Some guy is wrong. The G3 does significantly more Damage than say, an M16. Let me grab you the damage table that nedlands made..

EDIT: Here ya go, http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...elRt_Xl9WyW6VA

As you can see. The damage of each weapon is based on what type of ammunition it uses.

G3 (7.62x51mm) = 50 Damage
M16 (5.56x45mm) = 36 Damage

The AK47 and the SKS both shoot the exact same round (7.62x39mm) = 42 Damage

Yep. Just look at the spreadsheet, they both shoot 5.56x54mm.

Is my spreadsheet too hard to read? I put a lot of information that people don't really need in it...

EDIT: A lot of the carbines fire a CQB variant of the round which basically simulates the slower muzzle velocity of the weapon.

Isn't that list flawed???
Because an M16 has a larger barrel than a M4 and a L85a2 has an even longer barrel, L86's is even longer.
longer barrel=more damage and higher accuracy in "reality".

The G3 feels like it does monster damage compared to others when I use it, you just have to hit them first and they're dead very soon after. Pretty sure it was made more powerfull in the last version change, I would compare it to a sniper gun now.

Do all the guns have similar armour piercing capabilities. I would expect the mp5 to obviously not go through a fence, Im not sure about if the others vary or if its a simple yes or no thing.

Even pistol headshot is always lethal now? Would that be included in armoured figures sometimes or does the poor/good armour figure only ever apply to the body
Can USMC be hit on the body with G3 and it records a 85 damage (ie. kevlar gap or something), I swear they start bleeding when hit very often

SKS is the crapest gun for me, skorpion is pretty bad also. Its hard to fire them unscoped which is what gets the kills most of the time

Code:
Limb	Body	Head	Poor Armour	Good Armour
Skorpion 15.4	23.8	210	15.4 14
SKS/AK 46.2	71.4	630	63 42
G3 55	85	750	75 50
SAW/M16/AK101 39.6	61.2	540	46.8 36

# of Shots to Wound
Does that mean bleeding, prelude to black screen effect
