GB vs. MEC

I tried and failed to find a thread on this. I search by thread and post GB vs MEC, UK vs MEC, GB MEC map, UK maps, GB maps, MEC maps. Got nothing on this.

I'm rather disappointed that there are no GB vs. MEC maps. I'm curious as to how well the L85A2 does against the G3 in open desert combat like Kashan and Kufrah. I take it this hasn't happened as the Challenger 2 isn't ready for prime time yet, so no open combat. Is this the case? GB is finished enough to allow this type of combat?

How about a map similar to Operation Phoenix?

Agree! Maybe they should make a Predecessor Basrah explaining how the GB drove the MEC out?(Before the insurgents moved in of course) And it would bring back the AAS mode to Basrah which i miss so much!

problem being it would be a "cloned" map that means we waste 100mbs of mod space on a map that is more or less the same as the other Al Basrah, but has a diffrent gameplay to it. Not worth 100mbs when you can have a 100% new map in there.
