Need a shooting gallery offline plz!

It's hard to tell if a hit registers when shooting an enemy at 600m, so would it be possible for someone to make a simple map that has lines every 100m and targets set up, some standing some prone, that drop when hit so we can practice?

I cannot tell when bullet drop needs to be compensated for, nor can I always tell the velocity of my rounds so I don't know how far to lead targets, so some sort of shooting gallery map that can be played offline to help us get a feel for where to aim at what range as well as how long the bullet travel time is for computing lead, would be great! At range one hit doesn't kill anyone so it's nearly impossible to tell if you are hitting someone or if they are simply reacting to a nearby bullet impact.

I am ashamed to admit it, but one map this week a teammate was AFK so I went 300m away and started shots at him, looking for the "Friendly fire" message to tell if I hit him or not. That is a less than ideal method, I'm sure you'll agree....

Lol Armand I hear you, I've had some weird experiences with bullet drop. I've used the PLA sniper rifle, lined up a target at 500yds...dead on, yet my bullet misses?? Its strange, feel like the sites are off center on the thing. It works at closer ranges but I always struggle with it at longer ones....the M40 doesn't cause me any problems. Is offline mode working? There used to be that proving grounds map, I think it had targets.

That was only in the beta where someone accidentally put the map in there. Its gone now.

You can only tell if there was a hit detection problem if you shoot another player.
However, a map that was just a few weapon ranges with explosive barrels(they respawned in 20 secs and rendered at huge ranges would be real nice for off0line and online weapons practice.

...mongol...

I believe that the sniper rifles are centered at 600M, so you only have to compensate for bullet drop at ranges past 600M.
