local multiplayer random kick!
Hey guys, i have 2 computers on a local area network, both being used to play head to head and co-op network games including BF2 PR. i have the latest version of project reality on both machines (0.609) and have a dedicated server running on my machine. both machines can connect to the server and join the game, but during play, either one of us or both at the same time can loose connection with the server and end up back at the menu screen. I dont see how this can happen when the server is running on my machine, there is no connection to loose!
has this happened to anyone else, if so what fixed it please? one other thing i noticed that the ping for the game is really high, up around 300 or so, why is this when it is only a LAN game with 2 machines, could we be auto kicked for high ping on a LAN game? any help would be greatly appreciated. Russ. |

I get disconnected 90% of the time on the first round I play when I start up PR/switch servers. My connection is fine, so it appears to be down to PR.
