Microphone Boost

Hi!

Unfortunately theres an Option in Windows and BF2 called Microphone Boost.

Some leave it out, others turn it on-.

My incoming sound volume in BF2 is set to 60-100.

But i sometimes cant hear people without boost when i am at 60.

People are wayyy too loud with 100 (when i hear unboosted people fine) and boost on.

I know micophone quality and settings is a point too. But ... Please all turn boost on..or offff ??? I dont know, but only one setting for all users will be great.

Btw..I hate my english too

If they tell you they cant hear you turn it up.

If they think youre too loud, turn it off.

If you are reading this dont stop, cause if you do, I'll kick you in the balls.

My microphone boost won't turn on for some reason. I've tried turning it on in Windows settings then loading the game and turning it on in there, and vice versa but no matter what it turns off when you navigate away from it. Anyone else have this problem?

Sometimes it turns off when BF2 loads the first map after I join the server.
When I tab to win and turn it on again everything is ok.

yeah nothing makes me hit the mute button faster than a clipping distorted microphone!
When using the in game voip, the screen icon should stay green on your screen as you talk, if it turns red, chances are you're deafening your team mates and you sound horrible. If you have mic boost turned on, you really shouldn't have your transmit volume at 100%, it should probably be somewhere between 60-80%. Keep it green people!!
