Its always that easy, don't be silly. Fly high, see target, fly towards, shoot, fly up high again.

Ive got a question. WRT to the clouds on kashan, does being above the clouds mean you're out of range from enemy ground based AA?

---My Tactic for Ground Attack---
1) Mark target area with attack command.
2) Reach above clouds.
3) Within 500m I begin my nosedive
4) Attack objective
5) Fly a circular pattern back up to the clouds
6) Wait till target is 1000m away
7) circle around and hit it again, or recon the area.

Of course prioritize targets aswell.
-Highest threat-
Mobile AA- You cant protect friendlies if your dead.
Tanks/APC- The reason your in the air, take out armor.
Bunkers/buildings- Good hiding places for enemies. (I find it hard to take out the bunkers though.)
Troop locations- take out enemy positions before your troops move in.
-Lowest threat-

-Do not fly over enemy main bases to destroy their assets. If your being harrased by jets, ask a fighter to tag along or shoot up the runway ONCE IN A WHILE. At least they can repair that. It is bad sportsmanship to decimate the other teams assets before they can use them.
-Think of it this way; the more armor they move out, the more useful you seem and the more kills you get. Taking out main base assets make you look like a n00b, but taking out a tank that has been pinning down teammates makes you a hero.

Hmm, I often avoid locks from enemy AA by going above the clouds.

But in terms of priority, I dont consider AA to be a priority to destroy by no means. My priority is..
armour/enemy pilots
Bunkers/troops

AA, is just something I evade or destroy if and when I have the chance ...Just my opinion!

BTW, had my first dog fight at 1000m today. Pure. Fun.

I like to go low to the ground (~100-200 ft.) with my LGMs armed and strafe enemy vehicles with my cannon. Alothough I know it is realistic, I hate the overheat time on the A-10's gun. I think it should realistically destroy a tank in one pass (you know how big those rounds are, about the size of a 20-oz pop bottle).

i'm most looking forward to guided munitions. having a sq lead call in a deployable lock box and launching a dead accurate flying pile of c4 is just awesome. i've used the sq lead hud for a long time for accurate infantry hits, and while it's effective, it's cheapens the deal a little bit. the teamwork and mega-explosion that results is where it's at.

discussed to death i know. as with the spectre, but c'mon, freaking sweet.

the funnest game i've played in battlefield period, after all this time, was piloting a blackhawk squad back when mini-guns were ruthless. gunners, some guy with his magic wrench (probably working hydro). we were just cruisin. bring that to a platform like an ac-130 and i'll probably lose my job.

Thats A10 on Basrah, where it carpet bombs half a city and has no real opponent, unless theres a skilled SA7 squad around. And even then, it can land, repair, while soemone spots the tracer, or comamnder finds them with his sattelitte view...

[R-DEV]Gaz: Shout "WE R L33TZ" at the MD, sucker punch him, then teabag him while shouting "WHO OWNS YA? WHO OWNS YA? SAY OUR NAME! IGI! IGI! IGI! OFP2 Beta plz?"

Use the LGMs on the A-10. I think they're like TOW missiles, they'll follow your crosshair.

I just played in a pilot squad on kashan, and it rocks! I like jets/planes too. (I want to be a pilot when Iīm older, play flight simulator etc...), but I probably need to practise a bit with the PR ones, and get a new joystick. mmmmmm x52 *drool* I probably like the A-10 best, but I havenīt had a chance to try in many other jets. I wonder if the devs could include an offline jet practise map, with all the jets and helicopters included, and targets, something like kashan with some rearranged objects.

One thing though, I HATE the blackhawk, the controls for me are horrible, I can hardly fly it, but the little bird I love!
