More recoil?
The new G3 model is super sleek, it looks exactly like it does IRL - I can tell because this was the weapon I was issued in the Danish army under the name of 'M75'. This got me thinking, because I certainly remember how this beast kicked like a mule. I never tried firing it on full auto because they would not let us, explaining that 'all we would get was a nice view of the sky'. In the game, however, you can fire full auto just fine at decent ranges.
Maybe most weapons could do with a bit more recoil? I am not saying full auto needs to be eliminated from the game but with the current recoil I in fact find myself using it more often than single shot mode because it is more versatile when in reality it is strictly for close combat. Single shot is the default setting and is what we want people using almost all the time, right? |

First recoil needs to be fixed so your goes actually drops a little after kicking up.

Honestly I love the way it is just now. If it changed a bit I wouldn't mind but I find it near-perfect atm.

I've always thought that the G3 recoil is waaaayyy too low and accurate, rapid fire is very easy - the recoil is the reason why intermediate cartridges were introduced in the first place. Whereas PR currently is an argument for going back to battle rifles....
The 5.56mm ingame recoil feels right, but the 7.62mm recoil really needs to be much more like firing a WW2 M1 - brutal, noisy and difficult to control when firing rapidly |

I love the G3, but I kinda feel like I am cheating when using it

You could be on track with something here...I know its been an on going debate forever as to the recoil of things. From my experience with a 7.26 round...after firing from a scope I wouldn't be able to instantly fire a second one without a bit of reaiming. The current G3 def has more kick than the 5.56 rd'er, which is good....but who knows, maybe everything needs a recoil boost?

Why do people think 7.62 caliber weapons should be so hard to control the recoil? Maybe if you let your 100lb lil sister shoot one full auto she might have a "view of the sky" but really it isn't omg recoil!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBDVmJN35T8 he seems to have no problem http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mr14_2Z2m0A that guy seems to dominate the uber recoil too. So it would seem that an experienced shooter can compensate for the recoil when firing full auto. |

Now see this guy can't handle it so this is proof that knowing what you are doing makes all the difference. Notice how the other guy tells him to lean into it, like the guys who can handle it did in the previous two clips.
