Will the GPMG replace the .50 cal on the Land Rover and Saxon?

I'm just curious, because I see in the PR Guide screen shots of these vehicles with mounted GPMGs, and since the GPMG is in-game already, and apparently have been mounted on these models, why they aren't in the latest beta.

Not that it matters or anything, this is just small stuff after all.

Oh, also, I hope to see the GPMG take the place of the mounted M249 on British maps like Al Basrah and such

When I saw that image I thought of the Checkpoints on Al Basrah and the M249s that are on the cement barricades.

Like I said, this is small stuff, so don't think I'm insisting that this is important or anything.

The .50 cal is used too in real life, and we thought they deserved a more powerful weapon.

He has a point about the CP static weapons though. The GPMG would be far more fitting.

Isn't the GPMG on the sandbag posts inside the Checkpoint on Albasrah in v0.6 though?

I would guess the GPMG doesn't have a modeled bi pod on it, which has something to do with why we aren't seeing it in those places quite yet?

I didnt think the Saxon could even mount an M2...

I miss the good old GPMG. Gave the Brit viechles a different feeling to those of the other factions. Now they're just dull...

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
