Exclamation Mic trouble...

For some reason my mic sounds soooo low. I dont know what to do i didnt change anything in the options so i dont know whats wrong. I know the mic works b/c i was using it for my PS2 a little while ago. This has been like this for days now.

Make sure your mic boost gain is set checked 'on'. You can see this by double-clicking the speaker icon in the speaker icon on the lower-right hand corner of the screen on your taskbar. If Mic doesn't have a slider, go to Options>Properties and check Mic. Then, you'll see Mic w/a slider and an 'Advanced' button. Go there and check your settings as well as the 'boost mic gain' option.

go to the bf2 folder

If you search you can set up your VOIP, and raise the bar to a higher setting.

Turn down the output volume or sensitivity. Or just adjust it so that it's farther away from your mouth. if all else fails then just dont yell lol

Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices -> Audio Tab : Sound Recording -> Pull your device up from the list and press the Volume button. Jack the sound up . You also might want to check 'Use Preferred Device'.

If that alone doesn't work then use the 'BF2VoiceSetup.exe'. This bit can be tricky. Try messing around with it until the sliders for it move. You should be good to go.
