LMG's overheating too fast?

I was reading over at the Insurgency HL2 Mod forums, and they stated (and a soldier confirmed) that the LMG's in their game, which are also in this game (except the Chinese ones) do not overheat even firing their full magazines. Any plans to change this in PR? I do agree that making a weapon who's purpose is area of denial and suppressive fire overheat fast is sorta odd.

yes, they overheat too fast. also, the 'guns' in the windows of the APC have ridiculously small mags.

Its 30 rounds in the APC windows, I dont think it's realistic, unless it really can be done.

I don't think the LMG heats up too fast. It's just noobs who dont know how to use it.

First off "ur" is an ancient city in Iraq, it's also the word for clock in Norwegian and I am sure it has many more meanings, it is however NOT a substitute word for "your" or "you're", grammar people

On topic.

Personally I think PR is way to worried about balance, let's keep/add more asymmetries for the pure sake of asymmetry (which is realistic), otherwise things like support weapons serve no purpose.

I would assume that in the APCs, you're firing something along the lines of this.

As to LMGs, I never really get to play the kit too much, but I find them good enough to keep up suppressive fire without overheating all the time. I do find that mounted MGs (ie, the 50 cals) overheat fast.
