Instead of having a weapon overheat and then pause while it cools down, I think they should remove the "overheating" factor all together. Let me explain.

I say, let a soldier fire his weapon as much as he wants, but instead of overheating, he needs to be careful that he doesn't overheat the wepaon to the point where rounds will actually "cook" off by themselves because the weapon is so hot.

Think about it, in real life, no soldier is going to wait for his weapon to cool down! I know I wouldn't...

Why are you complaining about the speed at which the LMGs overheat, when the real problem is how little ammo they have? It is just silly that the USMC support only get 2 clips. IRL they carry more like 13-17.

My #1 excuse for having a bad game:

What's the point in having that much ammo if you're not going to use it all up and I mean actually fire off all 200 rounds in each box and then reloading a new box... Plus, dying as soon as you get your kit if you're not careful... Just have a rifleman supply you with ammo if you find yourself running low on ammo. Also, you mean 2 boxes not 2 clips

17 drums of 200 rounds equals 3400 rounds of Ammo, if each round weighed 5.18g, then that would be 40lb or Ammo, plus 15lb for a Saw;
55lb!
Plus 16lb of Body Armour!

71lb Load!
Plus Water and food.

I run out all the time, very quickly. All I am asking for is a total of 3 or 4 clips. I have not yet overheated though.

60lb or Gear in total is normal, but 71+ water, NVGs, grenades, ect would be in excess's of 85 lbs is unlikely, its too cumbersome.
