Haha! I agree with you, but I've come to realize that as long as there's not someone actually grading their writing, people couldn't care less if they sound like a 6 year old who failed his spelling test. (not anyone in particular, just saying)

On topic: I pretty much never have a problem with the support gun overheating, except when I really dont want someone popping their head around a corner.

They dont overheat to quickly IMHO. When using the LMG you not supposed to fire the thing full auto till it overheats, you fire in 1-2 second bursts.. You will never find a soldier in RL firing full auto with his M249, they will allways use short bursts.

I don't think the LMG heats up too fast. It's just noobs who dont know how to use it.
I Agree people dont no how to use them i did work experience with the army and we fired a GpMg and the soilders told us "every time you fire say bananna in your head and only fire for the length of time it takes you to say bananna and then pause for a bananna" it reli does work

USMC LMGunners say "Die, MotherF'er, die" to control their bursts.

That may be very true, yet I demand to be able to use it wrong. I don't ned an unrealistic overheat to force me into using it right. That is the fun of knowing how to use a weapon; that you can be more effective then someone who doesn't know how to use it. If the gun is unbalanced, you just have to get one too. Just as it is with all the other weapons and assets in the game.

It is far more difficult to use the LMG well then to noobtube currently so I don't think it will be a problem.

Heh aculle watched the news too . Put that in if you ever mod the germans in!

Answer would be to increase alround recoil slightly and take away overheating.

Ummm wtf are you people on about? I havent had any overheating issues with the LMGs in PR. Seriously I think some of you are confusing the LMGs with the .50cals or something. The LMGs don't overheat nowhere near as fast as you guys are making it sound. Plus you SHOULD be using burst fire, regardless of whether the LMG overheats or not. Don't go spraying full auto at everything--you're going to waste ammo and look like an idiot. Sounds to me like you're the people who jump in the boats, hop on the M249 and then fire wildly in the air at abosultely nothing. Then when an enemy pops up its "OMG THE GUN OVERHEATED WTFFF!!!!"

Sometimes when that firepower is needed(ie destroying spawn car, mass enemies to suppress) it can sometimes overheat. Its not that bad as i rarely overheat and if so, its at about 80% through the belt. Still, if it has as much a little importance on gameplay as you claim, then surely tweaking that for realism wouldnt hurt. Its not like moddeling, skinning then animating something which requires tones of work.

Ok when marines are clearing a room what does the saw gunner do if there are known hostels?! they clear it full auto till every thing is dead. I beg they change it simply because the gun already kicks like a mule and it hard as hell to keep cover fire up with out overheating.

I use it properly in bursts also, but it overheats faster than it would in REALITY. Just because you should use bursts, doesnt mean you should have to. Case in point, you should use protection if your having sex, but you dont have to. You do on the other hand, have to deal with the consequences, whether it be missing your target, or hitting it and having a kid.
