True.
LMGs should overheat a bit slower imho, but I can get along with the current state too.

isnt the whole point of pr teamwork? a squad with good teamwork should be able to smoke and flank a support gunner to take him out.

therefore i think the devs should balance less and compensate with the knowledge that pr players are smarter then the horde of zombie medics that swarm over vbf2 which can charge anything and take it 100% of the time.

If balance is an issue, make them cool slower...DUH! No way a barrel that is so hot its almost glowing is going to cool down in what, 5-10 seconds. It does overheat to quickly, but also cools far to quickly.

Tip: Fire for 2 seconds, wait 1/2 a second, fire for 2 seconds ... repeat.

Not only will your gun not overheat ... you will also be firing in the right direction. Seriously ... if it overheats, thats no ones fault but your own for using spray and pray tactics.

Jeez, I never fire enough to notice overheating. After like a few seconds the recoil is almost unbearable to hit anything, even with suppressing fire. You want to be at least close to the target.

Yeah... I haven't had a problem with any machine gun overheating... You must be talking about vBF2's machine guns and overheating...

I agree with the poster. Shouldn't overheat so quickly. The SAW can unload an entire 100 round belt before it can't operate.

It wouldn't particularly ruin balance.

On topic.
Off topic.

You make a fair point in your second paragraph. But why take the time in your first to act the brainiac and then slate someone for using "ur" instead of "you're"?

Surely the whole point of any forum is to convey a message or opinion. He made a point and we all understood it.

Relax and try and remember this isnt english class.
