Newest Member Questions !!
Hello all.Being new to PR and not New to the BF series. I have several Questions about the mod.After playing a Single player mission I would like to know why Gas masks are not part of the standard Equipment.During this mission there was a lot of gas being thrown by the oppisite side.Next would be there is no Cross Hair,Hud does not show were the enemy is,what about finding a server ( Are there any Ranked Servers ? ) and I also could not get re-supply or artillery to function as well when I was the Commander. Why was the UAV Removed ????

There is no gas in the mod, it's smoke.
Crosshair and HUD parts have been removed for more realism, the UAV also. Commanders can only give supplies and arty after SLs request them. Uncheck the ranked box and you should find servers. There is ABR (alternative battlefield ranking), but the servers dont show that like in vBf2. |

arty and supplies must be requested by a squad leader first.

I would like to know why Gas masks are not part of the standard Equipment. There is no NBC warfare in PRM
Next would be there is no Cross Hair You don't have one in real life hence not ingame Hud does not show were the enemy is Not sure what you mean what about finding a server ( Are there any Ranked Servers ? ) no mod is ranked and ranking is a poor reason to look for a game to play I also could not get re-supply or artillery to function as well when I was the Commander. Squadleaders request these for you to use them. You're job as commander is not to spam artillery but to direct individual squads Why was the UAV Removed ? You're kidding? The way it was, was pure fantasy and a terrible gameplay mechanic |

This is one of the dumbest threads on these forums.
The whole point of the Mod is to move away from what made BF2 shit. No offense. |

As everyone's already answered your questions, i'm going to say, the best way to find out about PR it to read the manual. Well, and the title of the mod. "Project Reality" and play the game, over and over until you know what your doing. Join up in VoIP squads and follow orders. When your ready... join a clan, like the 22ndMEU, |3-5|, or [T] to name a few clans which are all tactics based. If you wanna game with some of us, man make an effort, PM some forum members for an Xfire or something, and hop in with 'em. If ya feel the need mines "Salustro". No Quotes.

You would think people would realize why there are no cross-hairs in a game called Project REALITY.
