Cobra

Alright, I went 136-4 on the texas server on al basarah gunning in a cobra.

I was called so many names that game, mostly a hacker. First off, to those idiots who thought I was a hacker. Well, you guys are idiots, and obviouslly you suck in the cobra. It isnt hard getting good stats with the cobra, in both seats if you are experienced. Anyways, I want the people who are complaining to the devs to make the cobra weaker to stop complaining. I mean honestly, I only had 34 kills per cobra. It is an attack chopper!

And to those people talkin about the sa7's are stupid. Well the AH1Z has two engines for a reason. SA7's dont lock on, they are heat seeking missles, they go to the heat source "the engine" and blow up the engine, then the helo or jet crashes. Its not easy to blow two engies with 1 rocket. The earlier cobras only had 1 engine and were getting shot down by SA7's in nam, so they marines made a newer version with two engies so it could take a hit.

If it took more time to repair the cobra, to make it more realistic then I wouldnt mind that, but one sa7 taking down a cobra every time is nonsense.

The cobra is fine and you did a pretty fine job on that devs!

BTW, TV's RULE!!

Agreed.
I remember you as my gunner once, the only gunner for me that was worth having (great with the tv's). Yea I see alot of threads that bitch about sa7's being too weak, and choppers being too hard to control.

record of 138-7

Agreed, Cobras aren't overpowered at all compared to RL. Taking them down isn't that hard at all.

Good Cobra stats aren't really that hard to get either. It's just a matter of getting a good pilot who doesn't fly low and slow (like most do, it seems), and who listens to your pointers.

Yea, sorry for being rude. Just not cool being called a hacker. Hacking is stupid.. why the hell would you play the game if you're guaranteed to win. Its not even playing if you cant die. Just angry because, I represent the 2ACR and we do not hack and despise hackers and glitching. We banned a recruit who was glitching and low blowing people in a populated game in our 1942/FH days.

If there's something in PR I can't stand, it's people flying ten feet about the rooftops at less than twenty knots

High isnt always the best way too fly. Sometimes flying low is better, but only of the pilot uses cover well and smart (safe).

Low and fast is good. What I always refer to as "low and slow" isn't. If my pilot does that, I yell at him to move before we get an RPG up our jacksies.

Flying low is smart, but only when you're going at a moderately fast pace or you have cover... unfortunately, most of the time I find my pilot flying at a rooftop level directly above a group of insurgents. I know his intentions are that I'll be able to kill as many opfor as possible; however, this gives the enemy just as much time to take us out with some RPG-7's.
