Agreed with all...
Well, it is a bit selfish, that you only med your squad, not saying that you shouldnt, they are your top priority, but if squads worked together, then someone else could give you cover, while you attempt to save a stranger...
Well, there comes the hardcoded VoIP issue, when SLs can only comminucate over the commander. But hey, if you can get organised right, that could be possible, too...

yeah the thing with medic or squad not clearing out the area where the team mate went down annoys me. Because when i am i revived (usually with like 5 sec left) i find my self getting shot right again along with the medic, resulting in 30 sec + dead time more to wait on... grrrr

i played a lot of medic today for shits and giggles and it really occurred to me that it is a full time job on pr, especially compared to vanilla. I ended up the end of a very long round (about 2 hours) with dozens of revives, dozens of heals, and, surprisingly, the most kills on the server. I guess that goes to show that a medic can fight and heal very effectively. the trick i learned was to hang like 20M back and when someone died, i could see where it was coming from, kill the SOB, then revive my teammate....

Bumping this zombie thread from year and a half ago, since the issue is still present like common cold.

Continuing from the first post:

3. Never and I mean NEVER go prone, when being healed.
The best position is crouched/kneeling, you get the same accuracy as prone if kneeling and your field of view is larger, meanwhile the medic can heal easier and faster due being able to get to your center body mass a lot easier

This is seriously pissing me off to the point, where I'd sometimes rather stab the wounded than heal them, because if you are healing a player who is prone:

-every time he moves, you have got to reposition the medibag, prolonging the treatment

-you need to crawl into his body which usually ends up with a bullet in your face once he starts firing due bullets coming out of the center of the screen which is in his head instead of the barrel's end

-as said smaller field of view resulting in the guy not being able to cover you. Yes the shader effects do prevent wounded from being able to fight, but if the medic can heal you faster, then the effect will go away a lot faster, too

And never, ever stare at the medic while being healed!!!!!!

But you mustnt do that or you two will get killed. Well, maybe you can do him a favor and get killed and let him use the epipen?
