If your pc can run Battleship mod, it looks like it could run this map.

I am an armor whore, this will be my haven once v.6 comes out. We need a 24/7 map of whatever this is

Let me state something here, for the record.

THESE BIG MAPS CAUSE NO MORE LAG THAN ANY OTHER BF2 MAP. IF YOU LAGGED BEFORE, YOU WILL STILL LAG NOW. IF YOU DIDN'T LAG BEFORE, YOU WON'T LAG NOW.

With that being said, you guys who don't know about mapping should not be making assumptions about what will cause what to happen when you 1) haven't played the map or 2) don't know what you're talking about.

Thanks, have a nice day.

If you ask me what I do for a living I will lie to you.
Don't make me lie.

Are those the same mud ones from helmand?

This is just awesome. I am going to love these big maps. Will this type of maps be limited to armor-maps or will we see really large jungle maps for instance?

Anywayzzz great job, really looking forward to it.

edit:
Wow just had a flash of massive tankbattles fueled by Apache's and Hinds flying over...

I think those were just proof of concept sort of things. Textures/rubble are supposed to be improved with the new buildings. They may or may not be made out of mud though.

Yes, Matt.B has said that they are just a sort of concept idea. IIRC he is working on a new set of buildings as well.

Make a sort of ArmA type map.
Huge grassy hills/patches of forests with limited armor and air support with a town in the middle

Oh wait... just make basrah bigger and add grass

(No, i don't like huge tank battles. Infantry pwns)
