Is there any possibility of the US forces getting the M8?

And the anwer is no. Because the project was ended and it would be unrealistic to us to have it.

Instead of all those variants what i'd do is have one Super Baseline Compact Sharpshooter Automatic Rifle, with a Grenade Launcher and issue to everyone.
