IRC channel
Yes - I know there is one;
What I would like to point out is that the population in it is fairly small; introducing more people into the world of IRC would be a good thing for the community. (Also if clans are present on it it may be possible to organise mini-games and PCWs and the like). IRC in reality (heh) is an incredibly useful tool; take for example Counter Strike (Source), there are channels containing thousands of users that are just for people to find teams, get games, find players for games and so on, there are loads of these channels, loads more games, I think it is time more people became active in #projectreality on irc.quakenet.org There are two main clients for IRC (although one is much more common than the other, let me know if I have missed a big one...) as well as webpage based clients. The first and most common is mIRC, available for download and installation on your OS, and is suitable to run in the background and leave running during play. Find it here: http://www.mirc.com/ The other is a plugin for Mozilla Firefox, called Chatzilla, and is more useful if you use IRC whilst using forums etc. Although it is a plugin for Firefox, Firefox does not have to be running to use it, only to start it. Find it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/16/ I think that the proper use of IRC is a great way to bring together the small(ish) community of PR post with comments/questions ideas etc. |

Nice post.
Yeah, its not very busy but it doesn't need to be. Of course I'd love to have more users on (the more the merrier) but IRC is harder to set up than just using MSN or posting on a forum. Worth it, though. |

Everytime I'm in the channel it's pure silence, nobody saying a word... lol

Was pretty busy earlier on... the idea of IRC is that you idle there almost all day and talk whenever.

Something that should be added - it's on irc.quakenet.org
And there's often good conversations going on in there. |

My clan is at #pit on enterthegame, but we're pretty much the only PR clan that uses IRC.
