i'm a PR junkie and haven't played any other FPS since may or so. Bought RO and have played about 4 hours total in 3months.

also fade to black screen would encourage the 'killed' played to ACTUALLY LOOK AT THEIR MAPS FOR SITUATIONAL AWARENESS!!!!
i see so few players do this, and its extremely frustrating, because these are the exact same players bitching because 'maaaaann i got sooo long till i respawn this suxxx'. Well duhhh, no wonder your always waiting for respawn, you spawn into shitty places cuz your not looking at your godamn map! When i play PR i have not a moment to spare, when im critically wounded/killed i am constantly evaluating the map, to see where other units are located, who is dying, where enemies are spotted, etc etc. also this helps me determine what kit i need to spawn as, as i can monitor my owns squads progress and what kits they have in-game. |

LOL, sadly true. With a good SL you can encourage them not too.
But this does enable you to take advantage of their simplistic spwing and realy kick them hard up the back side NOt the ballS, if you get what i am saying!!! |

yea topcat exactly, its very easy to predict enemy movements majority of time heheheheh usually why i get such easy kills
but i dont like this, its not as realistic or challenging knowing that players are always like cattle, stampeding down the same paths over and over... that is why i give this advice, in hope that we get some smarter players who can 'guide' the other ones to an effective fighting team! |

Personally, I've always liked the long respawn. Gives people to sit and think about what they did wrong. Also, while looking at a black screen, they don't have the distractions of the battlefield so.... They can sit and think about what they did wrong....

long spwns Rock becuase firefights are more intensive BECUASE people value their lives more - it is pretty much that simple.
And becuase firefights are more intensive the real way and the only "safe" way to defeat the enemy is to flank them (use tactics)! Such a simple change, such a brilliant ressult! |

you forgot the utility of long spawns ie: bathroom break, refill a drink etc

It would be nice to have the fade to black screen and all. But how would an admin watch a suspicious player? As it is, it is hard without free cam. Should be some feature for admins to do this.
