Best Mod voting

i was checking out the forgotten hope website and noticed a link to doomlab that was hosting a poll for best bf2 mod, i went down the list and noticed there was no PR option.

anyway i just thought id bring this to the communities attention, especially the devs cause you can submit PR into the poll and then we can have everyone from the community go over and help advertise PR to people who want a realistic mod

heres the link to the poll

The PR team needs to do some more advertising if obvious joke mods like Battlefield Ninjas outrank us :P

Pr did a good job in not participing, before starting flaming let me explain.
I got the feelings that some mods are cheating, 3000 votes a day is just impossible for an unknown BF2 top 100. IF PR would particape it will never get that number of votes without cheating.

*btw, its good to be back on PRF, it has been a long while

yeah, you're right. pr has enough attention right now so it probably wouldn't help as well.

I've never been a fan of these polls as the effort you put in spam-voting never results in an equal amount of publicity. Certainly can't hurt to be on the list, but then if we're not #1, it is the perception of anyone looking at that poll that we're not a quality mod. I'd rather work the community and clan scene and bring in the people who spend more time playing the game than anything else.

That's my take. Thanks for the heads up Broken, we really appreciate it.

Excited about PR

As far as mods go, there isn't anything else out there that I think can top PR if its done right. Dre is right. We don't nead to worry about those joke mods. PR is for mature gamers that realize an M1A1s main gun doesn't have the trejectory of a Nerf gun and just one rifle round through the chest often means certain death.

Here's hoping that PR becomes for BF2 what Forgotten Hope and Desert Combat have been for BF'42
