Respawn times should be longer, greater value in saving someone...

that feels good.

what sucks is when you back over him with the tank.
haha, lol. anyway what i mostly feel when i'm too late is annoyance. because most of the time i know i could have saved him if only the body hadn't disappeared after like 5 seconds.

btw, kinda off-topic but i've also notice people killing teammates and then reviving them so they get the revive score. and the other person doesn't punish because he's a medic as well and does it right back. that gets me pissed off just seeing it. i really want to kill the guy who does that (ingame, not in real life) but i don't because i know that he will punish me. any of you ever noticed that? make a poll on that one. what do you feel when...

Fact of life: A Conscience is what hurts when all your other parts feel so good.

I just get annoyed. Especially wen I do have time, get up, shock them 2 or 3 times and it DOSN'T WORK When using defib's, do you need to actually put it on the right way? I do all the time but they still seem to not work half the time. Sometimes they will work immediatly, while other times it takes 3 tries.

Yeah thats exactly what I think. You either run out as fast as possible to them and try to heal them (which results in death 85% of the time) or you check your flanks before going in to make sure its clear, but then, of course the guy is probably dead by the time you get to him.

Firstly... I am sorry if this might have been said already, but I can’t find it in the forums so far.

I was wondering if this could be done...

1) When a unit is critically wounded and they hit the fire button to call for a medic, could you then “deselect” this units respawn point (so when the timer goes out they don’t spawn and a medic can get to them). You may also need to figure out how to stop the wounded soldiers body from disappearing when the timer goes out as well (please take note of the idea in point 2 as well).

2) Non-medic soldiers have a new a ability to perhaps extend the injured players respawn timer by giving emergency first aid before a medic comes to sort out the situation.

3) The medic or all soldiers in the team have a new ability to drag the injured players bodies to cover to be healed safely.

I hope you can make use of these ideas in your modification.

I feel a bit annoyed, i would like medic could carry smoke....like that in huge firefights you could use it to give you cover while you move to save a teammate.
Would be more usefull than the grenades for the medics since they should stay in second line providing cover and healing his squad.

I get frusterated playing the demo anyway, even though its very fun and addicting. It seems the battle never ends. I mean as in between two outposts or whatever. (Always happens at the beach) Theres no small offensive force, theres an offensive force that is ongoing because everyone just respawns right away.

I do admit it can be pretty fun defending at the middle beach base. Theres a bunch of guys standing up on those barrels or whatever they are, with only there very upper body poking out, while theres like a sniper on Support troop in the sandbag bunker, etc. Its fun to see that happening all at once. Things like that never really happened in 1942. No one defended. Defending is actually pretty well done too. You have a more fortified position. One time we had like 8 guys defending a flag and I looked over the barrels to see about 15 guys coming in an an APC on the road. It was so damn intimidating. I thought we were gone for sure. It was a suprise to me that not one of them entered the base, ond only one of us even died. ( revived another guy and threw madpacks where everyone was standing)

Oops, kinda got off-topic there. About medics, I think there timer should be longer. Not for respawn exactly, but they should have the choice to either respawn or wait 30 seconds for a medic. I mean this just for BF2 in a patch, not PR.

All in about 15 seconds, huh? No offense, but I smell major exaggeration.

That's the funniest thign about being another class then taking your downed medics kit and reviving him, he has your kit and he probably doesn't know why.... poor bastard.

I'm somewhat suicidal as a medic, running out from my cover into a storm of arty or past enemy tanks to get to my downed comrade, So I do feel a bit of frustration when I get there and it's too late to revive.

Whats annoying overall is, if you run straight to them, your most likley going to die. If you check your flanks and such, you wont make it in time.
