character uniform&skin color?

Im not very familliar with how far mods can go in changing the game they are based on, but would it be possible to have a BFV-like option to change the color and uniform of your character in PR even though it is not part of BF2 itself? i think that it was a good add in to BFV and was a little dissapointed when i heard that its not an option in BF2.

well thats good but i mean as far as what BFV did, is any of that possible to re-create in a mod if it's not included in the actual game?

nah dude it was a pretty cool thing i thought. it added to the game and it was the closest thing weve seen in a BF game to being able to customize youre character... which wouldnt be a bad idea to add if thats possible

42: Kit determines extra character models and things added to your person. Your face (and in some mods skin color) is randomly selcected. When you pick up, say, a dead germans kit, you get the germans extra models, so you get a german helmet.

BFV: Player determines extra character models, face, skin color, hat vs helmet whatever. Nothing can be linked to kits, so everyone ends up looking kinda similar.

BF2: Unknown whether you can pick your race/face/body type. Id guess its random. The extra character models are determined by kit, and when you die and your kit goes away, they are go away, and the bare charachter model is left. However (if you're US), if you pick up a MEC assault kit, you get the US Assault kit character models (helmet, ammo pouches) but the MEC kit's weapons. So, you'll never see an American solider with that red chinese spec op hat, he'll have the US kit's spec op hat ( i believe a hat and sunglasses)

ya, but if you are US spec ops and grab a MEC AT (Eryx) class, your hat and glasses magically turn into a helmet and a predator on your back.

Maybe picking up a different kit there will be a little delay, like in ET when a you would be covert ops and steal and enemies uniform.
