Joystick Programing on BF2

I got a Logitech joystick a couple days ago, and I noticed that BFV seems to be kind of a dud when it comes to using a joystick. Reason being that you cant program any of the mouse fire buttons onto a joystick, so you have to us the Joystick and mouse simultaniously, which really sucks. Does anyone know if BF2 will fix this problem?

Whenever I try and program my stick with fire buttons, I get a Save Conflict or something like that.

To use a joystick in BF, you have to turn off your joystick software, or else it won't work properly. You will get conflicts.

All you need are the joystick drivers.

are you trying to program the buttons with the joystick software or ingame?

if your trying to do it with the joystick software thats probably where youve gone wrong just go to the ingame controlls and do it that way like you were reprograming your keyboard buttons or something

Pretty much I installed the joystick, then went to BFV options, controls, then clicked on the space to change a button and clicked a joystick button to change it, And yes, my joystick does do the pitch and roll and all that other stuff, it just wont fire, when I try and save the fire buttons, I get a conflict error.

Rodster, I can just turn of my Joystick software in the control panel right?
