This is all sounding pretty uninformed and reactionary, corporations are not evil, they are amoral. Anything they can do which will make them money they will do within reason, conversely anything which could lose them any amount of money they will generally not do.
In the minds of the EA higher-ups releasing their source code will lose them money, therefore they will not do it. |
