Hard to set up? I used 2 minutes to get the key binding 2 key bindings by the way i have no more need then that, I usually go on mumble first find the server with most mumblers and join or wait in line to get in hardly any work at all.

I am not playing on servers without mumblers its just a totally other experience.

Sure you can type, but you gotta admit its a hard way to communicate and in most situations when you want to talk to a blue guy infront of you in the action you dont want to get off your mouse to type.

So given a situation Yamalia for example:
you are in a defense or attacking position you are amazingly attacking/defending with another squad something rarely happening without mumble. Now you see a enemy ducking for cover and you see a blue guy that are litteraly 10 meter from the enemy hiding behind a rock or a small rise in the terrain the bullets are going past you will you stop up and type? Will you just let the blue guy be unaware of the danger lurking near him or if you had mumble give a notice without loosing control and standing straight up and down like a target on the shooting range.

Everyone will see whats best in every situation mumble will be far more superior then most other ways of communicating. TS3 has 3D speak but its not open source and therefore everyone has different settings and people just going in for kills will just listen to everybody. PRMumble hardcode such things so that everybody has the same settings about hearing people.

Doing it wrong. its not meant to replace ingame voip.

i meet a guy on RT today, who only just had installed PR, and joined my squad. He was using mumble.

Its not complicated to setup, and its worth using!

Take this from Myself Wicca, i use mumble, the PRT use Mumble.

Its not a substitute for TS, or Voip, it enhances the excperience of PR.

Think of it like crack, or coffein, it makes you enjoy the game alot more!

My thoughts on Mumble? Mumble is fun on Tactical Gamer. Mumble works best with two channels. Mumble is a nifty program. I do not wish to see Mumble become a mandatory dl to play PR.

if it has the capability of improving teamwork massively and involves very little effort (hopefully in future, even less effort) they why not?

It needs to be made more user friendly.
Bigger icons, less grey and black, stripping unwanted options etcetera.
Balloontips for different options and help pages for general instructions, how to setup your hotkeys (better way to setup hotkeys), what mumble is for, how to use it.
Maybe hide all advanced options.

It's only 0.5 but ease of use is really important point when getting more mumble users that are not best with computers.
