It was a shame that he got sent away before he could finish out his stay. It was amazing how dumb and disorganized the insurgents are, but brutally effective at times. Footage of their operations taken with an insurgents cell phone, it's humorous. How has this war not ended yet?

You should proof-read your statements before you post.

The Taliban are one of the most effective guerilla groups in human history, considering how many coalition deaths they cause, how they can change the Afghan people's view on the coalition simply by word of mouth (not to mention getting them to leave their homes and drop their livelyhoods for years), and how they have managed to keep a supply chain going from neighboring countries for 9 years and growing. They have infiltrated areas of the government, and the ANA themselves who are trained to kill them.

There was over 6000 casulties from Taliban IED attacks in 2009 alone and they have said that they are going to increase this as they move into the north and west.source

If you call an Insurgent movement that is costing western countries billions per year stupid then you should go over there and see for yourself how 'dumb and disorganized' they are.

UMMMM.... yea i did proof read it, apparently you didn't read it correctly. Are you in support of the insurgents, cuz it sounds like it?? Perhaps you didn't watch this documentary, because these insurgents were dumb and disorganized. But could somehow pull of effective operations sometimes.

You don't really even understand the war or what an Insurgency really is, by essence it is DISORGANIZATION.

In Afghanistan, the Taliban is an opfor in Afghan.and part of the insurgency. the insurgency is comprised of dozens of different miltia/groups/tribes/villages

What the Taliban really has working for them in this war is, HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE.

Dtacs knows his shit man, and no, if you honestly think you can run a force that can bloody NATO's nose without serious organisational/logistical/administrational skills, you're even dumber than your post suggests.

Edit: Sweet triple post man.

Edit2:

I have an even better idea. Since you seem to know so much about running a military organisation, I'll do you a deal. List everything you would have to organise, with amounts, you would need to run a combat group of 30 people, as they would need to be equipped to conduct, say a single firefight a day.

If you can do that, then honestly look at half of what's on that list and tell me the people running the Insurgency are idiots for being able to do that for, at best estimates, 20,000 fighters spread from Pakistan to Iraq, with the might of the modern western world trying to stop them, then I'd invite you to write a letter explaining how to beat them, or how to make our operations efficient enough to, because you're better at running wars than anyone involved in any war going back as far as history goes.

Yes, this is a flame post. I accept that I might be infringed for it.

You are an idiot talking about things you clearly don't understand in the slightest bit.

In the show the insurgents are tasked with setting up an road side ambush with 2 120mm radio activated IEDs, which the insurgents couldn't get to detonate ( i'm assuming because the passing convey was using a freq. jammer). Then the insurgents get in an debate about it, the one guy with the detonators says " look the remote is broken, it doesn't work" he then presses the button and the shells go off. It was Humorous. Then the insurgents go back and lie to the leader, telling him that the ambush was a success.
