Default insurgency exploit

An unfortunate consequence of the droppable kit system, is that when a armed insurgent is wounded in battle, he can drop hes weapon, and as long as he doesn't bleed to death in less than one minute, he will die as a martyr.

The bluefor will then be punished for a col. kill.

Yes, I do want games to be more ambitious, to over-reach spectacularly,
to be more open and vibrant and mad.

better kill them faster then! ;3
I am doing absolutely horrible as Blufor these days. Even since all the INS weapons have been nerfed (again), i have much better luck as an insurgent.

The punishment is linked to the Collaborator kit, not the unarmed kit. Can you provide proof that dropping your kit punishes the blufor?

No, only that it says that you died a martyr. If there are no bluefor punishment for this, thats good news. So is it just like a normal death of an armed insurgents except for the text claiming that you died like a martyr?

Please man, read the manual before posting! It clearly states that in INS mode the unarmed is treated the same as the collaborator, if he dropped his weapons one minute before getting killed!
BTT, I've never seen someone doing this, as most times you get shot on as Insurgent, you die instantly or short after because of the lack of patches. Also, if a guy in my squad would do this, I would tell him some things about fair play!

The long version of my question: Is there proof that the blufor is punished based on when the player dies vs when the player was wounded. If tied to when they were shot then it wouldn't matter what kit the player had when they died, although the martyr message might simply be tied to the kit being held.

Because the wording of the manual is:
Civilians and unarmed insurgents are covered by rules of engagement (ROE).
Civilians doing the following within the last minute are considered combatants
and may be shot without penalty.

Shooting them and them bleeding out are two different things.

What about searching an empty server and try it? But I can image it works if the bleeding time is longer than a minute.
Sorry if I've misunderstood you.

Bleed time is 2 mins, Gettin sick of people sayin Ins. got "nerfed", they've not been nerfed but the BLUFOR teams always like to foucus on gettin more kills than doing the obj. and tbh I dont see this as an exploit, I mean they droped thier guns so your not suppose to killem.
