I am not advertyising but TexasTeamPlayers allows main base attack on all maps although I think it is relatively rare and even less frequently successful since people on that server are at least prepared for the possibility.

Baserape should only be an issue if the base would realistically be many kilometres away (see Kashan, Quinling, Russian tank spawn on Silent Eagle, etc.). Some servers also take issues with it as realistically any front line base would have a dedicated defence force, and no players can be bothered to do this. The latter reason I find to be pretty weak, as it takes fewer players to effectively defend a base than it takes to successfully attack it.
I think final cappable flags being actually inside an enemy main base such as in Silent Eagle and Barracuda is part of the problem, and that the flag should be moved a decent distance away from the vehicle and player spawn points. |

A note to those that say what i did wasn't beneficial to my team, well the idea was like i said to kill the enemy apc's which were dominating my team's infantry, which we all know those btrm's can do if used right. now i only going special forces when the enemy is using an assist a little to well, so i try to kill it where it's guard will be let down the most (near it's base, where it rearms). but i always leave some exit untouched, because I want it to be somewhat fair and not overkill.
also awesome how this is my second thread and it's on page 5. |

I'd love if the devs made a map where one team was defending and one was attacking.
The defending team gets a "set up" time and then the enemy attacks them! |

Placing mines in front of the mainbase-exit is the same like someone sh*t ahead your front-door @home. There is no problem cause you can still exit your house through the backdoor or you remove it but - would you like it...?

There is no such thing as "Base Rape" in real life.
'Base Rape' when happens in real life it is called 'Attacking Enemy Base' or for receiving side 'Received attack to our Base' Since this game, as far as I recognize, was meant to depict reality as much as possible using BF2 engine, thus no such thing as Base Rape. As for FPS game definition of Base Rape, I will say Any kind of attack on spawn point that makes receiving side team players feel not fun because of it. Whether it's killing vehicle or killing player after spawning etc etc. |
