IED limit?

I've read over the change log and it says the IED limit is 30, yet when playing as a combat engineer on the Taliban faction, I can only place five IEDs before they disappear.

Thats silly. There has always been a pretty high personal IED limit. I dont even think there is a team ied limit.

well I think they reduced it because it was too overpowered considering IED kit is not limited and anyone can have it

Taken from the changelog:

Updated maximum deployable proximity IED to 30 (increase from 10)

Proximity IED's are the mines. Normal IED's have a limit of 5, AP mines have a limit of 4 (claymores & grenade traps).

I put 20 Revenge artillery IEDs around a cache area last version, did it change?

5 is the limit for arty IED. You seem be able to put 10 C4's down despite the manual stating that the limit is 5 as well.
