Speaking of the medic. I heard by someone that medics heal people much faster if the patient is prone. And when I though about it I remembered thinking that healing was faster in .9. I didn't have time to try it properly, so I can't confirm it.
I guess it's a bug?

It does heal when prone and looking up. Only sometimes the sound effect or visual + in the corner won't show. It happens if you pickup a medic kit or were just revived.

When you prone as wounded the coughing and some blood effect may go away, but will come back if you stand up. This might have caused the illusion that it heals faster when prone. Check the changelog, think it had something with the healing, its bit faster now.
