proof? it says "BUCKSHOT" as the weapon when you equip it. and do soldiers really carry around beanbag rounds.... or for that matter that blow open doors?

"Shotguns are deadly when used in close quarters. They can also be used to
breach locked doors. Insurgents shot with them count as being arrested. This is
intended for cases where civilian collaborators hide in hard to reach spots
."

From the manual.

lol you read the manual. doesn't mean its right. is it even realistic to have average soldiers with non lethal shotguns? this is all aside from the fact that its lame.

You know what's lame? Collaborators that throw up a hook and then hang themselves on the rope in midair so they can't be arrested. Or Collaborators on roofs or behind walls baiting you in the sights of a sniper. The current regulation is ok, and prevents misuse of the collaborator kit.

@illidur: Well if it was in the manual that was updated for 0.9 i think you can pretty much take it to be correct.

but for every civi thats hanging on a rope uselessly, thats 1 less guy you have to worry about. hitting with a rock requires you to be close enough to be punched. and you dont have to arrest a civi.... you can ignore and keep going.
