It does appear that the fast movers can get to docks and wait with their 50cal's for the birds to arrive and wham bam thank you mam..... they are down....

But as someone else said, if this is happening, then the US need to rethink their approach and attack the docks from the south and not straight in.....

I believe the bleed factor is the same, unless the US cap docks first and then loose it, you don't bleed tickets - ok so no Cobra until you get docks but after 20 mins you get to CAS Huey, this should then help the US get docks.....

If an attack doesn't work 1 - maybe try again, if it don't work after 2 attempts you really need to think of another attack strategy....

Or is two attack choppers too much destruction for a 2km map?

You guys are trying to fix the wrong problem! In our case now, the problem can be fixed at the source; Take those jeep and armored out!

Simple isn't it? TAKE THEM OUT!

IMO, There are a lot of new people playing.
I was playing Muttrah earlier and it was halfway in the game, and when we finally got at the docks with literally 4 crates. Now keep in mind, I am in a squad with 1 man who has a sniper kit way off in the mountains. There was 4 squads with 1 man in it and 1 squad actually was full besides the 2 other locked ones but he didn't know how to build a FOB

So there is about 15 people at docks running around, throwing smoke and I'm yelling at my SQL to get his a** in gear and help out, found out he didn't have a mic. So he's yelling at me to start my own squad if I didn't like it. I guess he didn't notice there was already 9 squads with 13 unassigned. So I started to get really frustrated so I start yelling at everyone at the docks trying to get everyone to work together.

Finally I gave up and left. It wasn't worth me blowing my top off and getting banned. So what I am trying to say is, that it might not be the map but the point of the wave of new players trying to see how the game works or running around thing that the game is just vBF2.

If they where already spawned at the start of the round, there wouldn't be anyone lazing and they wouldn't need to have anyone lazing since the enemy would be in a very predictable location and there wouldn't be any HMGs to shoot them down. Best defence would be handheld AA which would most likely be tucked in the back of a vehicle.

If the cobra is on a slightly delayed spawn as it is now then its far more difficult for it to take out targets because they have had time to get into a pretty random location and the AA etc is mostly up.

two cobras wouldn't be an option, in fuzz's opinion one cobra is too much for a 2km map hehe, but two would take even more boots off the ground.

I think that is more of a reason to be upset...

And RIGHT in a recession... anyway, I don't even have a tv, not to mention, the Olympic is at the other end of the country, which mean, we don't have any economic income from that in our province, but we will pay for it anyway...

Back to our stories, [R-DEV]Rhino, I'm sorry if I sound like a yelling man, and I'm not trying to attack you. But I do believe you guys had achieved a very balanced map, so much, that 1 of the top three server in PR was a muttrah only server. It didn't get there for nothing.

See, I'm not saying it's all crap, I'm saying don't change for the sake of changing. Change it to be better, or don't touch it. IMO, it's as valid as bringing something new.

It's like trying to change the bigmac, will mcdonald change the bigmac? No they won't! it's working that way, they introduce something new, a new sandwich, but they will never touch something working. If a highway has no traffic, a well planned entrance and exit to a city, will we try to change it? no! it's working that way!

But don't take my word on it, do a poll. Ask people "Is muttrah better, or worst in 0.9"

So far this thread has consisted of one angry complaining man, a whole lot of off-topic crap, and Rhino being unusually pleasant. What a day.

Personally, I agree with the points that were espoused by the intelligent posters in this thread. The MEC has too much mobile firepower too early in the game, and it's basically inevitable that they will down all the helos and overrun docks. In the past a good USMC team could roll up even good MEC teams, at least back to the south city flag. Now, the USMC are lucky if they can create a beachhead before getting raped by BTR rush.
