Default Main menu music

I would just like to say that I'm not a fan of the new intro music in PR. It doesn't get me pumped, it's slow and I feel it doesn't fit in very well. It takes a few minutes to get going good but by that time you are already loading a map or it restarts cause you are refreshing a server. Can you make it so it doesn't restart whenever you refresh a server, the old intro got me pumped as soon as it started playing, this new one is good don't get me wrong but I think it just doesn't fit in well as the main menu music.

The new music is the best PR has ever known if you ask me...

Careful, thats a suggestion however I wholeheartedly agree. The old music for Russian maps made me so pumped that I wanted to get in there and lead a squad and kill Russians/Rebels straight away, but now its just dreary and dull.

Its a shame that whoever made it put so much work in, but its simply not really that good.

Sheath no sword;
Lower no shield;
Lack no vigilance.

New RP system is great.

Much more focus these days on building and defending firebases.

Rally points are great when you're in the middle of no where, 4 of your squad, including your medic have been totally killed, and it's just you and one last guy retreating for your life to put down that rally point to give your squad 'one more chance'.

If you use the rally point as that, it's great. Gives you one chance to recover from almost sheer destruction.

Of course it sucks if you're using it to spawn in the odd person when newcomers join your squad half-way through a game =P

Actually I think it's much better than the old music.
PR had this unusual techno vibe thing going on in the old music, and I've never heard that type in another game. It didn't really have an interesting beat.

The new music is slow, yes, and it sounds sort of improvised, but it has some nice laywers to it; I dunno, it just sounds more natural.
The piano adds an interesting and sophisticated quality to it. There are very few videogames that have a piano overture as part of their music.

I always listen to my own music collection while I'm not spawned into game. Open <your_favourite_media_player_here> before staring PR and use keyboard's media keys to control music playback.

Exactly what intro songs are you referring to? There are over ten, and you can impossibly hate them all.
