Question regarding Cobra on Muttrah City

In v0.909 does the Cobra no longer respawn on Muttrah City? The other day I played this map and the two attack hueys (with hydras) continued to respawn but the cobra never did. I am assuming that this is just one of the many changes.

P.S. if this is a repeat, I apologize. I did a search and didn't find anything relative.

I take it you were playing Coop mode as I have not seen any CAS Huey's on Muttrah in 0.9...?

No, I was playing standard mode. At least I think I was. I joined one of the servers in my favorites list, and as far as I know, it was standard AAS.

I was told it wasn't and it didn't spawn at all for like thirty mins so i believe not.

That fucken sucks , the cobra owned on this map , espcially if i was in the pilot seat and had a good spotter

You have to use the cobra for certain fire missions like it was intended. You cant just hover around and look for targets ( even with a spotter). You have to get the enemy off guard and attack infrequently.

I think you have to have docks capped in order to have it spawn. We had this map running a couple of hours ago on bigD server 2 and we noticed it didn't spawn, however, once we had capped docks it spawned in straight away (around 30 mins into the round since there was only 4 people on the server, the people on US were just flying choppers).
But I doubt that you didn't have docks capped so perhaps you were playing the alternate layout? I don't recall the cas hueys respawning when we played so they might (respawn) on the alternate layer instead of the cobra spawning.

Fuzz made a 1 time only Cobra spawn once the docks flags has been capped, and added 2x attack huey spawns with a 20min (I think) spawn delay/respawn.

Will be assessing how it goes and when I come to do Muttrah v2.5 I may keep it, I may revert it back to the old setup or I'll come up with something new

I think that is a pretty awesome layout.... with a patient Cobra pilot and a good spotter that unit can stay up all match and just rule it and now with 2 CAS Huey's in support.... well look out MEC...

Hmm. Will need to try it, but will miss Cobra on Muttrah.

So... Am I mistaken or there is no map with spawnable Cobra now?
