Sorry, but because I was composing a reply on a thread for like 2 hours, I got mad when I had this "Sorry! This thread is closed!".
I want to help the community and give my opinion and I don't to want to have typed this reply for nothing. So here it is... Now closed thread: http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f10-...ml#post1259369 Hello world, 1. I would like to say that THIS is an good and important post from Motherpucker. But I cannot say the same form the responses. 2. For neophytes, a motocross IS a dirt bike. (Where do you came from for not knowing that ? I wonder) ...you know Motocross Madness (dirt bike game) from Microsoft ?? 3. Fighter's commentary seems to be an unconstructive insult. Especially coming from a server moderator. I think this is spam. 4. Mj Pain, tells Motherpucker to go practice... for my part I also say that there is a serious flaw with the dirtbike drivability. Should be less difficult than a chopper... And about practicing... does training has been removed in PR 0.9 ? I hope not. And if so, why ? 5. And if driving a dirt bike is that easy, why the hell does everybody looks like total noobs when they drive ? Just see for yourselves and look at how people drive them and talked about them on other forums. 6. Some peoples just don't even drive bikes because the time you get it straight can could get killed or simply because it is just "undriveable". No where in the PR manual I found the "how-to" drive dirt bikes. (Just saying) Maybe should dirt bikes have the same physic as a quads ? But I guess it would feel too stiff and maybe look weird. In other words not real, and we don't want that. For my part, I just hope that it could be as driveable as Motocross Madness's dirt bikes. Or at least somewhere between the twos. You know, between: "OMG I feel like a drunken brain damaged handicaped trying to drive a dirt bike" & "GOD! am I David Pastrana ? I need more jumps !!" Is the brand written on the bike's fuel tank is PITA ? ...hard to read... A PITA bike Bikes physics need to be revised. Do I feel lack of grip on the wheels when turning ? But imagine it's not just that... something is not right. Hard to keep on course. I want them so bad !!!! Please work on them !!!! ...or tell me what am I doing wrong. Thanks in advance ! Because I like them so much here a fun video example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAkBI...eature=related Still, when turning aftter the landing, you can see that it seems to drift too much (the lack of grip I was talking about) look at 1:33, it is just impossible to do in real life and I think that may be what makes it unnaturally strange to drive. I am not bitching on any point, just saying what seems right and wrong for the advancement of that top-of-the-line multi-awarded BF2 mod. Black Sands Studios is just doing a GREAT work !!!! BRAVO PR ROCKS !!!! |

Whether this is a suggestion or feedback it's going to get closed, the forums which they belong in are temporarily closed while people play more of 0.9.
I agree with your point about the bike it's just pointless making this thread right now. |

Ok thanks for that quick reply and the explanation.
As of suggestion/feedback, how can I tell when the forums will be up for it? Thanks! |

When the 'PR Suggestions' section is not locked.
And we used to have bikes that didn't lean. They were even harder to control, especially at high speeds. I think the current handling is fine, it's the durability that needs to be changed. People look like idiots driving bikes now because the slightest bump taken the wrong way can set them on fire. So you have to be overly cautious. |

Yeah, tbh I think the bikes just need some revising in the suspension, and possibly more hit points.
Everything else is dandy, and it's great fun doing donuts with them. |

I don't see a problem with the dirt bikes, it's the BF2 engine. Fast moving, light vehicles are going to suck
EDIT: I want to apologize to the OP of the orginal thread and to Saobh for my behavior in the Part 1 thread. |

*In before the lock*
At least for me they rock violently back and forth like I'm lagging intensely whilst I don't experience that with any other vehicle in PR. |

Hint: use both the Mouse and the Keyboard to steer and lean

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
