Default Performance Drop in v0.9

This is the #1 issue with the new version and I'm glad to see that there are already posts trying to combat this problem, it seems like the DEVS are working hard to fix the problem.

Any ideas on how to fix it? The rumor mill on servers is that the view distances for objects/grass has been modified and that's what is causing all of the performance drops. My system runs ARMA II on high settings and for some reason PR is taxing it; I had to lower my settings and turn off AA for the first time in a long time. I hope a quick fix is on the way because the fanbase will figure out what maps run well for "average" rigs and stick with the same 2-3 maps again.

The biggest problem, I believe, is that you guys are outgrowing the BF2 engine.

Anyway, good update, been with the mod since it was just PRMM (Going on what 4-5 years?), I'm liking all of the new free stuff, thank you.

It's a forum, people post their thoughts; welcome. "Where?" find the threads yourself.
