Well, that's what I meant by "use a different codec", because youtube forces audio codecs, and if you were to put the sound into the game it would be better to use a different one.

Also, there was a little bit too much background hissing on 2 of the 4, but I don't why I'm complaining, they still sound awesome. Perhaps I'm complaining because I'm such an audiophile.

Just had a listen to those files, have a bit of feedback here,

1. You only have a single shotgun mic, correct? If so, make sure you're recording in mono and not stereo. Also make sure the file stays in that format.

2. Always record at the maximum bit-depth/samplerate you can. 44.1/16 is perfect but capturing the sound at a higher resolution pays off big time.

3. There's some pretty bad DC Offset but as the field recordist, there's no need for you to worry about it. It's easily corrected in the digital realm.

Other than that, really well recorded!
