TG is a 62 person server, you need to join when it has less than that

No worries, but never ever take their or my word for it. Always develop your own way of leading, if people don't join, then you're clearly doing something wrong and find out what it is. But always ask at the end of a round what you need to improve - most of the time the most quiet people will have some really constructive things to say.

I do what my SL says to do, however if my SL is a jerk, a big-headed ahole, a full of himself leet I will leave the squad & find another. It one thing to follow the order "Alright guys..hold this position & set up a perimeter" & quite another to follow a jackhole powertrippin' d*ckheads screamrage over the mic "Stop right there you morons! Stop whatever it is the f*ck you are doing & guard the position! Arrrg! You guys are f*ckin' idiots! Do what I say! I know this game & you don't!" SL like that end up getting fragged by their own troops.

Its not always easy to get a squad to be a cohesive unit but I still find it happens in Insurgency all the time. Just last night on the T&T server our SL (SqnLdr) led myself and 4 pubbies the whole round, in which we decimated the enemy overall with our 111 kills to 20 something deaths. A mixture of fun and clear orders I think are needed for an effective squad.

Am i an ass when SLing ? yup
do i swear at people not doing what i tell them to do? yes
Do i have ANY patience left over? nope (2 years of playing, its been worn down to not exist anymore)

Am i on a powertrip? hell no, i want to run the most effective squad on the field, thats the fun for me in the game and if players dont like it they can leave (chances are, ive kicked em already).

the result of players doing what i tell them:

destroyed directly or indirectly 3 caches. one death was a discon and 2 from bomb car.

This isn't the real life military. There is no need to be a jerk to other players. If I wanted to get screamed at by someone in uniform I would have joined the RL military. PR is only a game & as such I don't have to take BS from anyone. You want to be my SL? Then treat me with respect & you will receive the same. If you have lost your patience in with dealing with subordinates then perhaps you shouldn't be SL. Like I said earlier... this isn't the RL military, it is only a game.

I try to be nice when SLing, as PR is first and foremost about having fun, but if squad members are ignoring me and doing their own thing they simply will be gone. Other squads can deal with the idiot snipers, mine will be attacking or defending objectives.

no one has said anything about "screaming" at other players, there is a real difference between "screaming" at other players and saying "stop running off and stay with the squad you f**king retard". You want to be my squad member? you do what i say.

Players in my squad that do what i say, when i say dont get talked down to, these are the players i like. players than run off and do there own thing all the time screwing over the hole squad, these are the players i tell off/kick.
