[[R-DEV]UK_Force]

Just to let you all know, recently I have been posting some DEV Blogs in reference to VBS2.

VBS2 is a real life Military Simulator, which is used by militaries all over the world for training and mission rehearsal.

Anyway recently I have been given a second job at my work, to start to put together training missions for training.

I therefore thought it would be "interesting" for you the "Gaming" community to let you see what the Military use as a 3d platform to carry out some of their training, seeing as you are all "gamers" with a "military" interest.

It seems however some of you do not fully understand our DEV Blogs, so let me enlighten you all:

They are designed as Blogs, for the Developers to show you what we get up to, be that in PR or otherwise.

98% of this forum is dedicated to Project Reality, with a DEV Highlights section and regular updates ........... is this not enough "PR" for you.

If you do not agree with a blog - do not look at it FFS, there is no need to condem it by being arrogant !!

Other DEV's have and do post non PR stuff in their blogs (go and have a look through) - we have a right as the owners and developers of this Mod to post what we like - if you do not want to know what a DEV is up to outside of PR or whatever, then stay away from it !!

We have other lives outside of PR, and the blogs are there to reflect this too - to keep you the community more in touch with the DEV's.

We give a lot to you the community - and do not take kindly to rubbish posted in their Blogs.




I and others do not take kindly to people posting comments in a Blog, that it is "spam", "not right", "not PR related" - etc, etc.

The Blogs clearly state [VBS2] - in the title !!!

I can see your point UKF, but I read the second blog first, and I thought it was something to do with PR2, or maybe somekind of side project for a PR mod of ARMA - its only when I looked at one of your earlier DEV blogs that I understood what it was. Maybe that has caused some confusion?

People referring to it as spam is just disrespectful.

The first time I looked at that blog, funny it looks so much like PR.
You have a nice job mate, just ignore the wingey kids who don't/can't read and or understand what your blog is all about.
Very interesting to see where gaming will probably be in a few years, or a millionaires PR, and assuming I win the lottery next week, can I give you a job making my own game like that?

No I made a thread to point out the DEV Blogs are to post what we want in ...... read the thread again ffs.

As for people "being mean" to me .....lol - I am mature enough and old enough to let internet bollocks, breeze over without caring - I earn £42k a year making VBS2 missions now as part of my job in the Military, so do not really care what you think actually .......... some people are so narrow minded !!

kirra, why be a donut? This is the kind of attitude that makes everything your sort have moaned about for years disappear.

UKF, would you expect anything else from people that expect the team to be working, for free, 24/7 for them

I find referring to things as 'Spam' and 'un-important' as pretty shitty to be honest, and the moment when half you people who 'complain' give any of your time to the mod is when I'll listen to you.

Keep up the good work lads, inside and outside of the mod, and don't take any notice of certain illiterate trolls
