How do YOU Treat new PR Members? :D

ive recently met a new player bloodshot+1 spells with all the symbols like |3|{}[]|)S}{[]....yeah you get it but thanks to me he had his first flawless round with no deaths and a handful of kills and i play with him alot now and he convinced me to download xfire....but it theres a new player thats a dickwad kinda guy i give him th Alt+F4 treatment..."Hey sharpshooter, HEY HEEEYYY, help me assh*le, how do i xxxxxx"

I prefer to just kind of take them under my wing and teach whatever I can. If they have a bad experience and no one helps them, they will leave the game. We need all the players and support we can gain. And if he has a great experience and sees the fun in the game, he can tell others who might join. Use the pyramid scam idea haha.

Stick to the rifleman kit. Learn the characteristics of the game with it. Then start working your way up the food (okay, kit and vehicle) chain.

unless they insta-request pickup kits, go lonewolf or show unwanted attitude like not having read the manual, i try to be patient, helping them as much as i can.

Encourage them to lone wolf. Encourage them to find the highest point possible with the sniper kit. Undermine the squad leader openly. Tell everyone to relax a lot when they get angry.

Encourage the deployment of fastropes (it's either the SHIFT+W, E or R, I can't remember).


Telling them that there are no punishments for killing civilians. Telling them that respawns on choppers are very short. Telling them that you can rearm off enemy crates, but it takes longer. Telling them firebases heal you. Telling them the off map warning is broken in PR and doesn't do anything. Telling them Bandages don't work if you're prone. Telling them the sniper kit works best if you keep moving. Telling them Marksmen are basically just snipers with less zoom. Telling them that aircraft are just like in vBF2. Telling them the black screen and warning for vehicles go away if you ignore them long enough.

Telling them to jump a lot. Telling them bayonets have 5m range. Telling them pistols are more effective than rifles from 30-50m. Telling them to tap right click to aim grenades better. Telling them trip flares work as claymores. Telling them to refresh friendly firebases by using the radio with the knife. Telling them tanks aren't very accurate at range. Telling them to always keep the doorguns warm by firing them a bit when flying around. Telling them the only way to win in PR is to blow up the enemy command truck. Telling them mines only damage infantry and should always be cleared with vehicles.

Hazing is an important part of any good community.

I am surprised to see how many people that treat them bad. If you really like PR you would treat new members more important that other people.

I like to help others I don't play no more but I liked It's funny how once my squad got left behind because the new guy (medic) took 5 minutes to revive someone XD He was great though. Great teamplayer.
