By now,
i'd only change the commander UAV and shorten its cooldown on 6-7 mins, the cheap area attack is being changed so i cant complain about that (maybe adding mortars every 20 mins additional to the jdam/arty) , and i hope a solution for placing markers as often as possible will be found. The problem on publics is that you have loads of squads, taking away equipment, and then you need to deal with what you have, but even then the commander is a useful tool to coordinate the whole team - without commander there is only the ingame chat, which isnt read while fighting, and even if not fighting, eyes are not pointet on the chat all the time, except of that typing takes to long. Having equal teams, but one of them having a commander, makes the team with communication win. |

I think the commander is ok as it is, need some tweaking here and there, but honestly it depends on who you are commanding more than anything.

On any of the Following Maps: Muttrah, Barracuda, Kashan, Snow Storm, Qinling, Karbala, Operation Archer, and Jabal Al Burj a team with a good commander who can Co-Ordinate his team will win. Unless the other team has a commander.
In all honesty it's a lack of decent commanders out there rather than a lack of decent Squad Leaders. Most Squad Leaders will listen to a good CO, one who is able to make communication between squads easier than just using Team Chat, e.g. giving Heli Squads markers on exact enemy/friendly positions for CAS/Extract. There's also a lack of people who want to relax by their computer having a nice cuppa tea |
